Remote Learning

Remote Learning Information

As you know from Monday 11th January all schools in Scotland will move to online classrooms. We hope that the information you have received both electronically and by phone call has helped to alleviate any concerns and anxieties you have about supporting your child’s remote learning. Please be assured that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure your child’s learning experience during this second lockdown, will be as close to their everyday in-school experience as possible. This update is intended to provide an overview of the remote learning offered by Coulter Primary.

  • From Monday, work will be posted daily on pupils' Google Classrooms.
  • A timetable for the week will be posted to help you and your child structure the day.
  • Class teachers will endeavour to respond to any issues and provide feedback on tasks as soon as they can.
  • Your child should have received a zip wallet containing resources before the festive break and families who requested chromebooks received them this week. We are also aware of the problems of wi-fi signal strength in certain households and the challenges that moving to online learning will cause. Any IT issues please contact Mrs Kennedy immediately and she will try and find a resolution as quickly as possible so your child does not miss valuable learning time.

Please let us know if you require any further resources as the lockdown continues and we will do our utmost to get them to you.

Mrs Kennedy hopes to host live Google Meet sessions for the children during this lockdown and more details will be posted in the classrooms soon.
